So Why TheRVnetwork.com
By 2010, RVs will be owned by 8.5 million households, outpacing overall U.S. household growth of six percent, the Michigan Study forecasts. And that’s just ownership! So many more of us are getting out and exploring by renting. In fact, RV renting has become so popular that it is estimated to be a $350 million/year business, experiencing a 63% growth rate, according to the U.S. Census Bureau.
So where are all of us to go? We discovered our industry was missing a platform where campers and RV’ers could really communicate with each other, share experiences, videos and just have fun. TheRVnetwork is a social networking site created specifically with your interests in mind!
How much does membership cost?
Membership is absolutely free and allows you unlimited photo uploading, chat, forums etc. We only ask that you adhere to the TERMS you agreed to when you became a member.
Can I give Feedback?
Not only can you give it we highly encourage it. We take your advice and critiques very seriously here. Let’s face it, our members know what they want to see in a site and what is not relevant and we make sure those suggestions are implemented. How do I sign in?
If you are a member you can sign in directly HERE. If you are a new member you will need to complete a registration found HERE.
Am I able to change my password?
Yes you can. In fact we encourage it in the event you believe someone else has obtained your current password. When you log in, under your profile tab you will see a tab entitled “Change Password” You can change your password as often as you like. Please note that a confirmation will be send to the e-mail address we have on file for you.
Who can view my profile?
Only registered members have access to profiles.
How do I delete my profile?
Once you log in, under your profile settings you will see a button entitled “Delete Profile”. Note once you delete your profile you will not be able to retrieve it. As a safety precaution once you click on delete profile and confirm the request you will be sent an e-mail. Only when you confirm your profile deletion on this e-mail will your account be deleted. This is a further measure to protect our members in the event someone obtains your password.
What happens if I forgot my password?
If you forgot your password but still have access to the e-mail address you used when registering you can simply go to the following LINK and click on “Forgot Password”. Your password will be e-mailed to you within 5 minutes.
Can I update my profile?
Yes you can update your profile as often as you like.
Why do you ask me for my age?
In order to protect our children we ask you to confirm your age. If you choose you can decide to hide your age on your profile so the only information someone will see for example is that your birthday is January 1. Also we have a birthday card alert so you can expect to receive birthday cards from your fellow members!
Can I delete a current “friend” in my profile?
Yes you can. If you go to the following LINK within your profile and click on “delete”, that member will no longer be associated with your account. Note this action is non-reversible.
Searching for members
If you know the members name simply click on MEMBERS and enter the person’s name in the field provided. If you do not know their name you can narrow your search by searching by Country or State.
How do I get my free T-shirt
Once 10 of your friends have become members you will receive an e-mail asking you to provide your mailing address. It’s that simple. Also when you log into your profile you will also be able to see the current status of your friend requests so you can track how many more you need to get your T-Shirt.
Do I need to modify my photos or videos before I upload them to the site?
No we’ll handle all that for you. Our system will automatically make the necessary corrections so your images and videos will be properly displayed and viewed. |
